Lasya was born and raised in Ashoknagar area of Hyderabad. Her father was a well-known politician from hyderabad.
Since childhood, Lasya wanted to became a singer, she also took some music classes.
After her primary education, she contested from the fourth ward (Piket) in the cantonment board elections held in 2015 on his father’s orders. But, she lost by a very few votes.
In 2023, he contested the Telangana Legislative Assembly elections as a Bharat Rashtra Samithi candidate from Secunderabad Cantonment constituency, a constituency reserved for SCs, and won by 17169 votes.¹
Lasya’s father passed away in 19 February 2023.
